While our Delta and Zephyr series technical furniture offers a "ready to go" solution for many broadcast and post suituations we also know that a custom design will be "de rigueur" for some end users.

Whether your needs are based upon custom modifications of our existing offerings to conform and adapt to your specific needs or you require a totally custom design for a high end post suite or broadcast center, Laguna Designs has the capability to pull it off.

Since we deploy such an eclectic array of materials, or shop is unique in that we have the expertise and equipment to work steel, non- ferrous metals, composites, woods, solid surface and plastics.  The addition of our brand new Anderson CNC router gives enables us to provide unparalleled accuracy and duplication in the standard parts that we manufacture as well as the ability to incorporate new design concepts quickly and cost effectively.  Our metal fabrication equipment includes: a Tig Welder for Stainless steel and Aluminum, multiple Mig welding stations for standard steel, A Digital Knee Mill, Cold saw and plasma cutter.  The average tenure of our craftsman is 10 years in our company.  We are the only shop in the industry, that I am aware of, that has all of these capabilities “in-house”.

Laguna Designs' custom abilities range from the unseen, such as a custom fabricated curved monitor support system for a trade show; to the seen, such as an elegant one-of-kind post production desk of fine wood with matching client desk to complete an extraordinary post suite.From a custom monitor lift system, to a broadcast control desk that allows a switcher to be moved from a center location to a side position to accomodate different operators, Laguna Designs is ready to assist you in your project.

Shop

We have always been a “custom” shop. The range of challenges for millwork and fabrication that our customers have brought to us have broadened our design ability as well as our investment in tooling.  We have developed eclectic skillsets that merge traditional craftsmanship with state of the art equipment.  It is our unique abilities to work with a such a variety of materials “in house” that enables us to tackle some of the most demanding projects.
